Hi,
I would like to inquire regarding this porcelain stoneware dish. Would like to know its origins and when was this made. I was told that it was excavated in a province north of Luzon Philippines.

Diameter- 18 3/4"
Height- 3"
Weight- 7 kg

This dish was posted and discussed a few months ago. The general evaluation was that it is a modern product. There is no reason to think different now.

Check your earlier post to see if there was opinion on where made, but what country made (China, Japan, Taiwan, Macao?) make no difference to quality or artistic interest.

You've posted this large dish before. It's a modern fake copying a Yuan period dish. It has little value other than perhaps decorative value. If you are thinking of purchasing it, don't. If you have already purchased it, try to return it.

Unfortunately I don`t think this was excavated anywhere, IMO it`s a modern fake.
