Posted By: Guy Pepermans Mon, Oct 12, 2009 The seal reads "Seiya saku" (made by the Seiya workshop), ca 1890s. Cfr. the Meiji bronze elephant attacked by a group of tigers shown at the Asian Art Forum, casted by the same manufacturer (see link).
