Subject:19th c. Fukagawa Koransha vase - What's it worth?

I bought this vase...it measures about 11.5" tall, and 9" wide....absolutely perfect condition.

I believe the signature is one used by Fukagawa around 1875, but I can't find anything like it to get an idea of its value.

Can anyone offer up an estimate of the vases' worth and perhaps some comparable examples that have sold at auction?

Thanks, Tim

Factory made many such vases.

Do internet search you find many for sale.

Price guides 20 to 25 year old give much higher estimate price than can expect now (more than USD 1500).

Tastes change, western liking for highly decorated porcelains much more 100 years ago.

Good luck,
Cal
