found this vase at a flea market. just thought it was so intresting. does anyone have any idea's or thoughts on its origin

The picture should be sharper, but from what I can see, it is a Chinese soapstone carving.

Nice bush pot in form of branch of plum blossoms.

Modern because the branch show sharp angles cut from modern tools, unlike Qing Dynasty works, possibly mid 20th Century....Material is unknown.

Pls pick it with iron knife.

thank you for the info ive been told that the vase may be soap stone.do you think it has any value more that the 2 bucks i paid for it.

thank you so much for the info. ill definitly put up some sharper pictures. Do you have any idea if these spoapstone carvings are just a export item or were they from a period
