Subject:Need help with info on plate

I have this little plate and was wondering if anyone could provide information as to what "style" it's done in and maybe, if I could only hope, how old. I'm sure it's a mass produced piece but I would like to know who made it and what to call it so I don't sound like an idiot. LOL Thanks in advance for any help given.

Hello Beth,

I don't know what you know but your plate is Japanese and called "Kutani" porcelain. My guess for a dating is late Taisho period. The mark on you plate is probably read as "Kamika Do" (shopname).
