Subject:Japanese drawings on bed sheets

Can anyone give me any info on the attached, or translate the inscription on the one? My wife relates that her father obtained them at the end of WWII while he was an MP guarding interred Japanes soldiers. He traded cigarettes for them. They are drqawn on pieces of bed sheets. I find them fascinating and thought it would be quite interesting to know if any family members, or the artist(s) were known. I have one other picture.
