Wanted to verify the dating of this 10" platter. Shown on another site as late 19th century to early 20th, East Guangdong Porcelain Factory.

This one is actually much newer. Certainly no older than 50 years so it can be considered modern decorative dinner ware following the style of 19th century Rose Medallion.

Hello Lisa,

I'm sorry but I think that your plate is not older than about 1960. It's probably made in Hong Kong or Macao. I enclose a picture of a saucer of my own collection which is late 19th. century. I hope you can see the difference in execution.
