Subject:Who is R E Russell (signed RU//ELL on painting, print)?
Posted By: Robin Sun, Feb 28, 2010 IP: 71.203.101.14 I bought a painting / print at an estate sale that's signed by R E RU//ELL or Russell(?). I've tried to do a little research on the artist, but haven't found much. The scene is of 3 Asian (I assume because of the clothing)men/women each carrying 2 baskets connected by a bar across their shoulders, down a mountain path towards a swing bridge. Any suggestions? Thank-you for any help!

Posted By: Linda Keys Tue, Apr 19, 2011 R E RUSSELL WAS AN ARTIST IN LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA. MY HUSBAND PURCHASED ART FROM HIM OVER 34 YEARS AGO. I BELIEVE HE RECENTLY DIED.
