My parents bought this in Japan around 1966 and I ended up with it. Not sure what it's called but my mother always called it "the whisper". Any Idea of the value, it any???

Forgot to mention that is appears to be silk or felt or somoething, not sure. It's not painted on a canvas but if you rub your fingers across it, it feel fuzzy???

Appears to be generic image meant for sale to tourist, supposed to be amusing.

You describe "flocked" surface, perhaps meant to help make seem like painted, but probably printed image.
