Subject:Help ID bronze elephant - I can't read the mark

Hello. I am depending on the kindness of strangers. I have a bronze elephant that is 16.5 inches long. I can not read the mark on the elephant's belly. It is the only mark that I could find. (The first two pictures are of the same mark.) Can someone translate the mark for me? Is this a real meiji bronze?

A japanese Meiji bronze for sure. The reading of the name in the mark, written in Chinese seal script, will be a hard task, even for Japanese.
