Posted By: Bill H Sun, Jul 11, 2010 It's a snuff bottle with apocryphal Ming mark of Xuande (1426-35). The enamels and nuances of painting style suggest to me a late Qing-to-Republic date (circa 1890-1920). Here's another stylistically similar dragon motif on the larger surface of a bowl with different mark that I've seen on Guangxu ware dated cyclically to 1906. |
