Lao or Confucius? Please,help to define the period and country . Height of 3 inches, a bone. Any info would be appreciated.Thanks.

the figure holds a peach, which is a symbol of immortality in popular Daoism, so if not Laozi then in any case a Daoist. Face seems well carved, but arms and legs suffer a bit, I wonder why.
