Subject:Qainlong bowl

I have a bowl that I think is from the Qainlong dynasty. Can anyone verify that and give me an appraisal?

Hi, that's a post-1970 piece of Chinese porcelain that probably was decorated and refired in Macau or Hong Kong. Because of the lead content of its low-fired colored enamels, the factory had to affix the warning label, as required by laws that were enacted by the USA and some other countries circa the early 1970's.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Hallo Jennifer,

I'm sorry this is a modern item. Those warnings only occurs on items of the last decades.

Arjan

The mark is Qianlong but the bowl is a modern decorative bowl and not old.

By seeing the sticker in the third picture, I see the answer: It is not from the Qing dynasty.

Is not Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty.

Is about 1985 or later made probably China.

Sticker put on exported decorative wares to warn not use for food because has lead in glaze, also not put in microwave.

That mark is one of very most common since end of 19th century, supposed to hint is good quality.

Good luck,
Cal
