Subject:Help Translating Chop Marks

Can anyone help me with these chop marks I belive one may be the given name and one their family name.
If someone could translate them for me I would be grateful.

second picture is surname Li, first picture is given name, Qiu-something, can't tell what the second character is.

Hi Rat & Boz,
I think the second character in that first mark may be 'Du' which among other things means 'Specially favored by Heaven'. I'll have to sleep on the single character though.

funny I rejected that idea because of how the dot was transformed into a line, but I suspect you are right. interesting how characters get altered in different scripts.
