Subject:Need Info on Silk Tiger Painting (Pre-WWII)

I got this from my grandfather when I was young, it is about 3 feet high, and is supposedly painted on silk (I dont know what silk feels like so I dont know, it s a very thin material..)

Just trying to learn anything that I can about it:

yes, seems to be on silk, Japanese, not pre-WWII
