Posted By: Bill H Tue, Sep 21, 2010 The paper sticker with the 'OMC' initials above 'JAPAN' is a label of the Otagiri Mercantile Company which was one of the largest wholesalers of quality Japanese porcelain sold in western department stores and US military exchange outlets during the late 20th century. Enesco bought Otagiri in the 1990's and has discontinued the OMC brand according to information on the web. |
