Is this jar used for incense or something else. I don't think it is old, but it looks hand painted. Do you have any idea were this might have been made? Thank you.

The jar is in form often called 'ginger jar' but used for many non-liquid foods.

Top with yours is from something else. These usually had top like hemisphere with straightened sides, with matching enamel pattern.

Yours probably made 1950s or later, very hasty painting with no effort to be high quality. Made in millions.
