Subject:Chinese boat
Posted By: Jaap Tue, Oct 05, 2010 IP: 213.93.24.226 I have a question about a boat i just found at the addic of my grandma. We were cleaning out the house and found this thing. There are some (i believe) chinese letters on the art piece, i was wondering of some one can translate this and maybe knows some information about the history of this art piece.

Posted By: rat Tue, Oct 05, 2010 holy cow, that's the most ornate thing in that category i've ever seen. the inscriptions are auspicious wishes for good luck and getting whatever you wish for, nothing about an artist, date, or place of manufacture
