Since they're transfer-decorated, your bowls could be older Japanese or newer Chinese wares, though I would guess the former is the case from their general appearance and the opacity of the white glaze. The photo of the mark is too fuzzy to make out all of it, though the character on the right means 'wood', so could be some sort of tree or woody plant.
Best regards,
Bill H.

thanks Bill.

I suspected that those are Japanese ware, is it possibly also a Kangxi or qianlong?
based on the foot rim assumption.

Tonny, by "newer" Chinese Bill did not mean 17th-18th century (Kangxi reign) or late 18th/early 19th (Qianlong reign). I believe he meant circa 3rd quarter 20th century.

"Earlier Japanese" would be pre-World War II and have nothing to do with the Kangxi or Qianlong reigns in China. Transfer-printing of designs on Japanese factory porcelains was pretty common in 1920s and later.

Good luck,
Cal

There's no chance of your bowls being anything Chinese made before the early 20th century, because that was when transfer decoration was first introduced in China on a commercial scale.
Best regards,
Bill H.
