Subject:Iznik Pot

Dear Forum:
Some time ago I asked an expert about the age of this Iznik pot, about 10 cms. high, and I was answered that judging the age of the ring that surrounds the mouth it should be XIX, but I think the pottery workshops were closed at that time in Iznik. Maybe some of our usual friends can give me a better opinion. Thanks in advance.

This is probably an early 20th C. piece.
Production did continue in the XIX in Kutahya and this is probably where this one comes from.

Not a bad item, but not very valuable if you ask me...
