I have 2 vases I am trying to authenticate. I know they are old old but how old and where did they come from and value. I have another different but simular vase design but totally different handles. I got both from the same person so she doesn't know a lot help please. I have plenty of pics

Are many-many-many metal pieces on market with acid treatment and various coatings to make look old.

Obvious fakes can tell from good closeup pictures taken by real camera not cellphone device.

Better fakes need take to expert handle personally.

Nothing like what you show is known made Shang dynasty if that what you mean by "Shang."

Bronze castings during Shang Dynasty mainly for ritual vessels in prescribed forms.
