I posted two images of this ivory carp and one image of the underneath with a signature.

can anyone identify the signature?

Don't see the signature yet, but it's very difficult to offer commentary on your carving because it is very dirty or was stored improperly that cause it to turn so brown. Could be Japanese walrus ivory or resin. I'll suspend judgment until I see the bottom.
