Subject:Genuine or Fake Chinese bronze 'Ding'???

Hello, all!
I am wondering if someone can help identify if this is a genuine or fake bronze Chinese 'Ding', and if genuine, what period it was made.

This piece was purchased along with several fine antiques from a wealthy Palm Beach estate. One piece (Inuit (Eskimo), not Asian), has already been appraised for $15,000, so I am hoping this bronze could be the real thing.
Meaures 8" (20.8cm) wide, and about 8" (20.8cm) tall (not including the handles which are 1.5" (4.0cm) tall).
It weighs 15lbs (6.8kgs). It is not magnetic and the feet show bronze (at least in color) metal.
Most of the vessel is covered in a blue/green oxidation, but the bottom inside has a brownish oxidation.
The bowl seems to have been cast in two parts, then joined. There are rectangular shaped impressions on opposite sides of the lip of the bowl which look like something was placed on top (suspended?).
I appreciate all who share their expertise in this matter.
