Subject:Help identifying a drawing,,,age, artist, meaning?
Posted By: Jeanne Garde Wed, Dec 08, 2010 IP: 68.92.148.239 Attached are two photos of a drawing that has been in my family for many years. Can anyone help identify the artist and approximate age? It was purchased at Eland's Art Gallery, Exeter, England at some point prior to 1914. The size is 10.5 x 10.5 inches. Thank you for any help. |

Posted By: Guy Fri, Dec 10, 2010 A procession of frogs. Looks very Japanese, Meiji period to me. Could be a woodblock print in the "shikishiban" format. |
