Posted By: rat Thu, Dec 16, 2010 your guest is wrong, the writing is Japanese and reads right to left: top line: "national treasure", bottom line: "Kamakura no daibutsu" (The Great Buddha of Kamakura). look online for photos of the large outdoor buddha statue in Kamakura |
