Posted By: Tim Tue, Jan 18, 2011 IP: 98.254.38.62

Can someone help with the age & artist identification of these three paintings?

Group consists of a fan painting, scroll painting, and botanical.

Images can be viewed at these links:

nice pictures

first: nice fan painting, wild guess that the artist's name is Gui Dahai, 19th-20th century I'd think, not dated.

Second: 19th century or early 20th century painting by a Wang Yongnian, apparently a native of Shaanxi Province better known as a calligrapher, don't see dates.

Third: lovely, gouache on "pith" paper export painting, probably one of a set, no idea of painter, condition looks very good.

Rat -

Thank you very much - you are very helpful. The botanical is my favorite in the group.
