can anyone recommend and appraiser in the nyc or long island area. I have a statue that I would like to get appraised and am looking for an honest opinion

Look in telephone book yellow pages under Art.

Why don't you pop photos on the Forum page on this site? You won't get a value on it but maybe someone can tell you more about it and then you can take it further.
