Subject:mini vase
Posted By: tracey Fri, Mar 18, 2011 IP: 96.237.68.40 Hi, I also have a mini vase approx 3"H that I think may be jiangxi Jingdezhen (just based on some research I've done) Can anyone confirm this? Also would you know of age? Thanks again |

Posted By: bill h Fri, Mar 18, 2011 Stylisitcally this is a 20th century (post-1949) vase. Where it was made is a different question, because if I'm right about the age, it should have a standard Jingdezhen factory stamp if made and decorated there. Instead it has an apocryphal Tongzhi reign mark (Tong Zhi Nian Zhi). |
