Subject:Help Identifying Pair of Double Gourd Asian Vases
Posted By: Bill Thu, Mar 24, 2011 IP: 72.189.138.236 Hi. I picked these up at a thrift store, not sure if they are worth anything. I tried but can't find a match on the mark on the bottom. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Posted By: bill h Fri, Mar 25, 2011 This type of mark looks like what I'm used to seeing on Japanese wares of the late 20th century, though I'll defer to others to cut through the 'grass' and read it.

Posted By: Bill Tue, Mar 29, 2011 Thanks, any additional help would be appreciated, I have posted on several boards and can't seem to make any headway. The only location I have found this symbol is for a duplicate vase on auction that was listed as late 19th C chinese, and went for $300. But it gave absolutely no info so I don't know how accurate if at all that was.
