Hi, is anyone familiar with this handpainted bowl. I'm not sure if its tin or copper? From Asia or India? Any info would greatly be appreciated.

It doesn't look very Chinese to me, at least in the sense of having a traditional motif. However, are you sure it's a bowl with that hole in it? When I first looked I wondered if it might be a bell of some sort with the clapper missing, or perhaps part of a wind chime.
