Posted By: Bill H Thu, Jul 14, 2011 That's a 1970's or later pewter-clad dish, which as indicated by the backstamp, was decorated in Hong Kong on a Japanese porcelain blank. Such lead warnings came into vogue in the 1970's, as the US and other countries became concerned enough to incorporate labeling requirements in their import regulations.
