Pot with plastic handles probably 1990s-later.

Possibly Japan.

Show bottom of pot. Basket have nothing to do with where pot made.

Good luck,
Cal

Teapots nested in baskets were popular add-ons to sets of Chinese export porcelain ware during the late 19th and early 20th century, including in rose medallion patterns. Yours has enough of a non-traditional look to the decoration to suggest that it was made or decorated on a Chinese blank somewhere besides China, perhaps Thailand or elsewhere in Southeast Asia. If the woven plastic handles are original, it could be fairly new.

Best regards,

Bill H.
