Subject:Carved Coral tests?

Got this carved coral on ebay real cheep and was thinking glass, plastic or stone fake when I bid. It arrived today and passed both the milk test and vinegar tests? Any other tests for coral carvings out there? Item has good weight and guessing it is an older white coral dyed red and faded or the Asians learned a new way to pass these two tests? Milk turned pink and bubbled with vinegar?
