Subject:eBat carved horse

Pressed chipboard horse, who made these? Sold on eBat as vintage antique Asian carved wood horse. Not carved but pressed chipboard painted to look old. Resin and sawdust pressed into a mold; then painted with mud polyurethane, thinking dollar store item sold as vintage antique on eBat. Going to mount it on the back 40 fence post. Is this American factory work in Asia?

Looks a bit like it may come from India or elsewhere on the subcontinent. Might be a hobby horse made for the 'dummy horse dance' performed at one of the festivals there (see link below). Whatever, best keep an eye on that eBay seller in case he decides to auction the stick next week.
Cheers,
Bill H.
