Subject:Quartz statue 11" tall

Got another stone carving today. Does not look like the rose quartz on the internet, it is not hot pink or bright pink with the dark peach color; it is very clear translucent and only shows pink when something is behind the stone. It has inclusions and smoke like a quarts but not shocking pink as seen on the internet under rose quartz. The stone is a little over 11 inches tall "without the stand" and weight is a little over 5.5 pounds; it's a fat stone almost round. Just not sure if this is rose quartz or clear quartz. Has some pink deep in the stone??

Took it to the local rock shop; they said it was rose quartz and the darker hot pink ones I see all over the internet are Glass-Stained and Leaded. Figures?
