Subject:3rd try , Chinese scroll painting on silk with pic.
Posted By: Jacob Wed, Jan 18, 2012 IP: 68.193.109.79 I found this scroll along with a few others ,with some other items from the mid 50's and before.It was in storage for about 30 yrs , It was always rolled , and seems to be painted on silk.I was hoping someone could help me with the age and value ,Thanks so much

Posted By: rat Mon, Jan 23, 2012 can't tell exactly from the photo but looks pretty recent. the title is repeated in the "seal script" inscription added across the top and signed by the calligrapher. "Secluded Hut amid Streams and Mountains" is the title. the inscription on the picture looks like it may have a date and artist name; pls post a closeup of that section. more decorative value than anything else i'd think.
