Posted By: Bill H Tue, Jan 31, 2012 I have a spotty record with seal writing, but the four-character square seal in the last image seems to read 'Guang Xu Nian Yin' (Seal of the Guangxu Reign) when rotated 90 degrees left and flipped to a mirror image position. |

Posted By: rat Tue, Jan 31, 2012 this is a very recent creation that according to the legend on the base attempts to be a Guangxu-era (late Qing) seal. not sure about the writing on the side. |

Posted By: mikeoz Tue, Jan 31, 2012 I suggest this is a modern tourist market piece. The bottom surface contains the characters for GuangXu Jade seal, suggesting that it is an imperial seal for the GuangXu Emperor (1875-1908). 200% certain it isn't real. |

Posted By: mikeoz Tue, Jan 31, 2012 Also. it looks to have been etched with a laser, not hand carved. |
