Old painting,perhaps Mt Fuji,here is signature.if anyone can advise me on where to research this,i would appreciate it..thank you,Carl

The signature and red seal both appear to read Hosui. One artist who signed this name was Hosui Yamamoto. A link is pasted below to the wikipedia.org page about him.

The sign reads as �F�� �iFang Cui)in Chinese.

Xd,does this mean it is not a Japanese,but a Chinese artist?can you translate,the seal symbol,to english?or not translatable?thank you very much for your help,

In Chinese. Fan means �@fragrant; virtuous; beautiful. Cui means green.

The signature alone can't tell if it is Chinese or Japanese as Japanese use many Chinese words.
