Subject:Chinese calligraphy ID?
Posted By: rat Sat, Mar 24, 2012 neither. these are not a form of writing per se but are a group of seal impressions, perhaps a group of seals belonging to one individual, perhaps various seals belonging to various people. it's not possible to tell from your photograph. |

Posted By: mikeoz Sun, Mar 25, 2012 These look like seal impressions. Could you please post a larger picture so we can read the characters - or if you prefer, send me an email and I will look at them for you. |

Posted By: Bill H Sun, Mar 25, 2012 The characters are undecipherable in such a small-size image, but the red areas look like imprints of Chinese 'chops' or seals, which most commonly were used in olden days to make impressions of one's legal name on official documents. |
