Subject:Japanese painter Minato

While she was in Japan during the early 1950's my mother purchased a painting of a winsome young Japanese woman which was signed "Minato 1920."
As I am unable to reduce my photos to 100 KBs, I will be happy to send pictures by e-mail to anyone interested in helping me solve the mystery of Minato and his painting. There is also a sheet of paper taped to the back with a message inked in calligraphy which I will include. Thank you.
