Subject:Help identifying 2 plates and makers?
Posted By: leanne Sun, Apr 01, 2012 IP: 82.13.23.211 Hello can anybody help me identify these 2 plates i have came across please 1 is what looks like an imari plate and 1 has blue and white transfer i have added photos 1 of the front of the imari??? and 1 of the front a 1 of the back of the blue and white one

Posted By: Cal Mon, Apr 02, 2012 Blue and white plate is European, probably English, probably ca. 1900-1920s, last gasp of so-called "flow blue" ware. Not very popular in England, most exported to USA.
