Subject:Does anyone know the artist of this 1943 Chinese Painting?

Posted By: rat Thu, Apr 05, 2012 yes "self portrait" 1943, except that those characters are not of a Chinese name, rather Japanese. Unfortunately I am horrible with Japanese names. Perhaps a better Japanese speaker can weigh in.

Posted By: Dan Fri, Apr 06, 2012 I took it to a Chinese restaurant and they said it was chinese writing but that some of the characters were the same in Japanese. But unfortunately they didn't speak english well at all so I couldn't get much more out of them.
