Subject:turn of previous century pieces?
Posted By: stacey van pelt Mon, Apr 09, 2012 IP: 23.17.96.202

Hello
I'm looking for some assistance ascertaining origin/age/information, regarding a number of Asian (mostly Korean, I believe), that have come into my possession from the turn of the previous century. A friend of mine was given a chest with the contents as part of his great aunts estate. She was a nun/missionary in Korea during the early 1900's. After storing for many years, he offered it to me and am most interested in finding put more about these items.
if anyone can offer me any information, it would be greatly appreciated.

'Asian' what? Pickles? Shoes? Mats?

Sounds like you could use a visit from a professional appraiser familiar with whatever types of items you mean.

If you want help from viewers of this forum, excellent natural-light photographs of each item, including in-focus closeups, would probably elicit responses.

Good luck,
Cal
