Subject:Can any one give info on my cloisonne items

Posted By: Cal Fri, Apr 20, 2012 Yes, modern. Cap probably a make-do replacement. Could have been used as tea caddy, any dry foodstuff, or just decoration. Without feet, would be called 'ginger jar,' but a small one. |

Posted By: adam Wed, May 23, 2012 1900 at latest, certainly not modern... Was a koro (censer)but with replacement lid... cloisonne from the early japanese period when they were borrowing chinese motifs.. Has some ginbari work too (shiny foil work) |
