Subject:Can any one give info on my cloisonne items

Hi can any one give any information on both my cloisonne items, as to age are they modern, I would also like to know what the three legged pot would be used for????

Yes, modern. Cap probably a make-do replacement. Could have been used as tea caddy, any dry foodstuff, or just decoration. Without feet, would be called 'ginger jar,' but a small one.

Japanese,around 1900 at a guess,if there had been holes in the top I'd have thought it was a koro but not sure,

1900 at latest, certainly not modern... Was a koro (censer)but with replacement lid... cloisonne from the early japanese period when they were borrowing chinese motifs.. Has some ginbari work too (shiny foil work)
