Hello

That is a chinese belt buckle. In order to test if its jade. Do a specific gravity test. Nephrite jade will have a SP number of 2.90 to 3.00. Now the age is hard to tell. Most of these where make during the Ming and Ching dyansty. From the photos are not clear for me to look close to it to tell you more.

Belt hook, old style, could be Nephrite (Jade), Dragon watching its young, but it is artificially aged with brown dye stuff. Sharper pictures would perhaps give better info.I would like to see the beard of the young dragon in a very sharp close-up.

Do internet search "hongshan jade" you will find hardstone carvings in fantasy shapes, sold as being ancient. Perhaps millions of them.

Yours are in form of belt hooks from time later than actual Hongshan culture (which did exist, but not associated with the hardstone carvings' forms as made/sold in last 10 years or so).

Are also large numbers new hardstone carvings in form of ancient belt hooks.

Good luck,
Cal

Pictures are lousy.. and so, with what you show: very modern, and maybe Nephrite.
