Posted By: Bill H Thu, May 17, 2012 The mark reads from the top right downward as 'Kyoto, Miyabe Zo' (Made at Kyoto by Miyabe). This may be Miyabe Atsuyoshi, whose vase is the subject of the URL below. There are palpable differences in the calligraphic style of your mark and the one on this vase, so keep in mind the possibility of that one is made by a different generation of the same family of bronzesmiths. |
