Subject:Help identifying needle painting signature
Posted By: rat Sat, Jun 02, 2012 yes, the characters can be read that way, or simply as the Chinese surname Wang plus the given name Long. providing pictures of the entire piece might supply the context necessary to determine its origins. |

Posted By: Cal Mon, Jun 04, 2012 An embroidered piece might be sort-of copy or inspired by an actual painting, so might bear whatever the embroiderer thought was a signature on original piece. Embroiderer might only have poor photograph or print of what was copied. |
