Subject:Any one have information about this painting?
Posted By: calijames Thu, Aug 09, 2012 IP: 71.142.48.255 My mom has this painting and she does not know anything about it. She asked me if i could help her figuring out what it is, Who painted it and it's value. Any help would be appreciated.

Posted By: rat. Fri, Aug 10, 2012 hm, the calligraphy is a bit odd. Chinese artist, seems to be Tang Mingguang perhaps, though I am not sure I am reading the character I've written as "guang" correctly. decorative value.

Posted By: rat Tue, Aug 14, 2012 as i just posted on the other webpage, I've misread the last character of the "name" as "guang", when in fact I think it should be "Tang ming shanren",followed by "zuo", or "made/painted (by)". over there I think I suggested "he" as the first character, but I think it really must be "tang". sorry for the confusion. never heard of this guy, but the painting and calligraphy quality is not high.
