Hello, I have two Asian paintings. They are at least 40 years old, possibly much older. I don't know if they have any value or what the writing on them means. If anyone recognizes these and could help me with appraising I'd appreciate it.

no, not really. can't figure out what your dam is made of or labeled, but the painting is by a Zhang Guoxiao(?) dated 1984, of one of the eight immortals, painted in Xian.
