Subject:Marble Fu Dog found in Taiwan - what's it worth?

This is an antique, I think pure marble, extremely heavy, very well done, signed. I would love to know what it's worth and where it comes from.

Base is 12" x 6.5"

There is no white marble in Taiwan. Even that imported from China is only light gray at the most.
To me this looks more like cast resin.
